Rosario "Gigi" Verduzco

Actress, Storyteller, and Facilitator of Human Connection
Rosario Eugenia “Gigi” Verduzco Flores was born in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico, and from a young age found herself drawn to the magic of the stage. At just 17 years old, she joined El Corral de la Comedia, a local theater company, where she spent five formative years performing in both commercial and independent productions, developing her skills as an actress, storyteller, and facilitator of human connection.
Her formal education began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, followed by a series of specialized diplomas in Foreign Trade (Bancomext), Business Management and Teaching Skills (ITESM – Tecnológico de Monterrey), Organizational Human Development (ITESO), and Functional Nutrition. She also studied Children’s and Youth Literature (CONACULTA), Narrative and Oral Storytelling (UNAM), and Semiology of Everyday Life with Alfonso Ruiz Soto.
Throughout her career, Gigi has moved fluidly between seemingly different worlds— business leadership, cultural promotion, education, community work, and psychotherapy— always united by a common thread: the belief that stories, in all their forms, have the power to transform.
From Corporate Strategy to Cultural Impact In her early professional years, Gigi worked in marketing, human resources, and organizational development for companies in technology, environmental conservation, and logistics. She served as Director of Bosque La Primavera in Guadalajara, leading conservation initiatives and fostering cross-border partnerships. She also held leadership roles at Grupo Estratel and Serviporteo, where she built new operational systems from the ground up.
Her corporate skills in planning, communication, and leadership became the backbone of her later work in education and culture. In Puebla, she collaborated with the Consejo Puebla de Lectura and produced two radio programs—Chócalas, a playful literary show for children, and El Tapete Mágico, a space for storytelling.
A Voice for Stories Across Mexico
As a professional storyteller, Gigi has performed in more than 100 venues across Mexico, including the Mexican Chamber of Deputies, the UNAM, the Museo del Chopo, and countless cultural festivals. She has worked with IMCINE on projects to strengthen community bonds through art, bringing her performances to rural towns, prisons, and marginalized neighborhoods.
Her storytelling has not been limited to children; she has created and led workshops for educators, parents, and communities on reading promotion, emotional connection, and creative expression. In correctional facilities, she designed programs for mothers living with their children in prison (Bebeteca), facilitated reading aloud for inmates with literacy challenges, and offered parenting workshops to strengthen family bonds.
The Turn Toward Healing
Her path toward psychotherapy began with training in addiction counseling, which she later transitioned into a Master’s in Humanistic Psychotherapy and her current studies in Systemic-Family Psychotherapy. Her approach integrates narrative therapy, systemic thinking, symbolic tools, and somatic awareness.
She is the founder of Casa Clarita in Morelia, a therapeutic space designed for both practitioners and clients, offering a warm, community-oriented environment for emotional and mental well-being.
Alongside her clinical work, Gigi has a passion for the intersection of health and consciousness. She studied Functional Nutrition, explored the Bredesen Protocol for Alzheimer’s prevention, and has taken multiple courses in energy work and consciousness processes.
Voice in the Digital Space
In 2023, Gigi launched Ven Claridad, a podcast dedicated to exploring clarity, emotional health, and conscious living. With over 40 episodes and an upcoming YouTube expansion, the podcast blends personal storytelling, therapeutic insight, and practical tools for living with presence.
Choosing in Peace
At The People’s Reset, Gigi will present her talk Choosing in Peace: The Art of Deciding Without Fear. This session is designed for anyone who has felt paralyzed by indecision, overwhelmed by possibilities, or haunted by the fear of choosing “wrong.” Drawing from her therapeutic approach—which integrates systemic and narrative perspectives, symbolic tools, and somatic awareness—Gigi will guide participants to see decision-making as an intuitive, liberating process.
Through exploration of the energy drain caused by indecision, exercises to tune into inner signals, and a symbolic ritual called The Threshold and the Key, participants will leave with practical and soulful tools to make choices that feel aligned, embodied, and confident.
Core Belief
Whether on stage, behind a microphone, or in a therapy room, Gigi’s work is rooted in one truth: a well-told story can change a life. She believes that everyone carries the power to rewrite their own narrative, and her mission is to offer spaces—physical, emotional, and symbolic—where that rewriting can happen with clarity, presence, and peace.
