Shengong Breath Workshop
This workshop draws from the two most powerful healing modalities I’ve encountered on my own journey: Pangu Shengong (or Pangu Mystical Qigong) and pranayama from the Raja system of Yoga. Formal Pangu Shengong practice requires a specific transmission of foundational energy from an authorized instructor, while basic pranayama techniques are more accessible. I synthesized these two practices to offer others an introduction to the magic and healing potential of Pangu Shengong—which is rooted in kindness and love—without requiring formal initiation, and to share the benefits of my favorite pranayama technique, which I use daily to enhance mental clarity and support purification.
We will begin the workshop by sitting in a circle and settling into the present moment. I will cover the pranayama technique in detail, along with other essential aspects of the session, such as cultivating a calm mind and a broad heart. We will then move into the breath work as a group. The practice is simple, relaxing, and not physically strenuous. While we engage the pranayama, I will also act as a conduit for healing energy through a special method of Qi transmission, further enhancing the cleansing and purifying effects of the breathwork. The duration of the session will last for a minimum of 20 minutes.

My name is Travis, although some of you may know me by my hip-hop moniker, Sol Disciple. I’ve been on the path of energetic and spiritual exploration for well over a decade. In the winter of 2020, I had my first introduction to breathwork (beyond the Wim Hof Method) through the pranayama techniques of Raja Yoga. Through pranayama, I discovered that I could achieve mental clarity and energetic purification with ease through consistent practice. In September of 2024, I was initiated into the moving form of Pangu Shengong by my mentor, Chris Bale (Awakened Intent). This practice transformed my health in ways I couldn’t have imagined—resolving autoimmune symptoms, boosting immunity and vitality, enhancing energetic resilience, and awakening innate healing abilities that allow me to serve others. Over the past year, I have synthesized the most accessible components of these practices to facilitate active group healing sessions, where both I and the participants awaken our innate healing potential together as One.
