Ever Cooked Without a Recipe?

This practical workshop invites participants to rediscover their innate ability to heal — naturally, intuitively, and with confidence. Drawing from our lived experience of navigating medical emergencies without surgery and years of study in natural health, this workshop explores how to listen to your body, respond early to symptoms, and apply time-tested, natural methods that strengthen and support the body’s built-in healing intelligence.

In recent years, many people began to recognize the limits of the conventional medical model. We were told to wait, comply, and do nothing until illness became dire — a message that left most people feeling powerless. This workshop offers another path. It’s about remembering what our ancestors knew: that health sovereignty begins with awareness, courage, and practical tools that anyone can learn and use at home. As natural health pioneer Dr. Richard Schulze reminds us, “Don’t be the average patient.”

Presented by Abigail Harris and Maxam Magnata, a husband & wife team of thirty-five years devoted to helping others rediscover the power of self-healing through practical, natural methods and intuitive awareness.

Abigail Harris and Maxam Magnata

Abigail is a former Executive Director of a nonprofit organization serving the natural foods trade, representing independent, integrity-based members including natural food stores, co-ops, manufacturers, and distributors. Following an unexpected emergency room visit and diagnosis of a two-inch abdominal tumor, she embarked on a profound four-month journey of natural healing — without surgery — and made a full recovery. Her experience deepened her commitment to self-healing and to empowering others with the knowledge, confidence, and practical tools to trust their bodies and reclaim their sovereign health.

Maxam is a lifelong entrepreneur, wordsmith, jokester, world traveler, and polyglot. Guided by intuition and a lifelong curiosity, he follows the subtle threads of insight that lead to discovery and growth. His passion for herbs and natural healing began in Boulder, Colorado, in the 1970s, where he co-founded an herb company. During that time, he had the good fortune to meet Dr. John R. Christopher — the renowned herbalist and founder of the School of Natural Healing — who happened to wander into his shop one day. Dr. Christopher’s pioneering work and enduring influence helped reawaken the modern understanding of herbs as powerful allies in self-healing.
