John Tran is a visionary, Transformational Soul Coach, Yogi & curator of conscious experiences.

John Tran is the creator of several Yoga & Conscious Festivals in the US & a leader in the field of curating transformational experiences. Before moving to Tulum, John hosted & led one of the largest weekly yoga gatherings in the United States, with an average of 250 attendees every Tuesday for the past 5 years as well as guiding elders with Tai Chi & energetic practices.

In Tulum, John is leader in the conscious community & creator of intimate conscious gatherings & immersions that have featured guests from around the world. His events & experiences have been noted as “powerful, activating & deeply heart-centered”.
John is also a co-founder and visionary of a conscious/sustainable eco-village in Tulum , called AYAM Tulum.

At the age of 8, John began his spiritual journey, traveling with his parents & learning meditation and energy work from different spiritual teachers and healers. At the age of 8, he was Reiki attuned to help his father’s health ailments.

In 2008, John tried yoga for the first time & was immediately drawn to the peace & mindfulness that yoga brought to his life. Since then, yoga has been a central part of his life, sharing that same healing that brought him so much joy and balance to his community.

Today, John uses a variety of modalities that he has discovered on his journey that range from Vinyasa flow, Restorative yoga, Reiki, meditation, sound healing & EFT/Meridian Tapping & chakra tuning forks in his sessions. In addition to being a yoga instructor, John leads his community as the creator & Co-Founder of YOUniverSOUL Fest, an all-day yoga/mindfulness festival based in Houston.

As a musician/sound healer/facilitator John curates many of the Music/Consciousness events Houston & Tulum as well as different Yoga and consciousness festivals around the US including Burning Man, Ahimsa Festival NY, Lovelight Festival in Maryland to name a few.

More recently, Transcend is the creator of DMT:Dance Movement Tulum, Ecstatic Dance Tulum and has produced & facilitated ecstatic dance events with Diamanté K, SouLFULL Festival Tulum, Vesica & Ikal!
